Unit 10

Complete the following and post in your blog:

Review your unit 3 personal assessment of your psychological, physical, and spiritual well-being. Reflect on these areas . How did you score yourself on a scale from 1 to 10 in unit 3? How do you score yourself now? Has the score changed? Why or why not?
In Unit 3, I scored myself at a 6 in physical, 7 spiritual, and 7 psychological.

- Seeing that it only has been a few weeks since that post, today, I would rate myself the same. Change does not happen over night. It took 37 years to get to who I am today, it will take time to change behaviors and practices.

Review the goals and activities you set for yourself in each area. Have you made progress toward the goals? Explain. Have you implemented the activities you chose for your well-being in each of the three areas? Explain.

- I have made progress in the goals in that for Physical and Psychological -  I made the doctor appointments that I set to do (in February) and I am weening myself off facebook for improved spiritual happiness by releasing negativity and focus on my children and home.

Summarize your personal experience throughout this course. Have you developed improved well-being? What has been rewarding? What has been difficult? How will this experience improve your ability to assist others?

- I am very thrown off still as to the description of this course in the course book and the actual class itself. If I had known it was a self help type course rather than a course about the sociological aspects of spirituality and wellness, I probably would have not taken and save my funds for a class that was required for my degree.  However, yes I did learn about mind/body connections and the integral health progress that I will be able to use with my clinical psychology experience.
